Marcel de Nooijer

Marcel graduated in Geology at Utrecht University in 1992 and in Business Administration at Erasmus University in 1994. He enjoyed a long career in transportation. He’s a result-oriented leader with 28 years of commercial and operational experience within Cargo, Passenger and Engineering & Maintenance businesses. Defined and implemented strategic business plans. Achievements related to business turnarounds, revenue improvement and change management. Marcel moved to Transavia in January 2020, when the coronavirus entered the world, and his full attention became leading his company through this crisis. In the current challenging times for aviation he continues, through his analytical skills, his innovative approach and customer orientation, focusing on keeping flying accessible and attractive for Transavia’s customers.
