Career Sponsoring is a concept that is gaining momentum in organisations. It is related to mentoring, but is aimed at providing someone with specific opportunities that help to grow their capacity, their confidence, visibility, and even promotability. There are many ways in which employees can utilise sponsorship to vertically or horizontally develop their careers. This second part of the session will provide an introduction into the topic and will get you to think about what support you could aim for… and what power you have, to help others!
