About us

Van Oord is a global player in the field of Offshore, Offshore Wind and Dredging. We also have a strong share in civil industry within the Netherlands. These 4 segments form our Business Units. Our mission “Creating a better world for future generations, by marine ingenuity” makes us actively committed to sustainability and the energy transition. We are an innovative partner for our clients and have been contributing to the infrastructure of tomorrow’s world for over a hundred years.

An internship or Traineeship at Van Oord
For students we provide opportunities for (inter)national internships, final theses and traineeships. This could be a project abroad, a project in the Netherlands or at one of our offices in the Netherlands, for example within one of the following departments: Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Business development and our VOX Data team. 

You will be part of a global community where every day is a new opportunity to explore and learn. Joining our multicultural team will give you a chance to experience a challenging yet rewarding internship, as we will encourage you to learn by doing and discovering. During your internship you will also have a change to engage in various social activities. Van Oord has a Young Van Oord community, which organizes various activities ranging from excursions and lectures to workshops, brainstorming sessions and sports competitions.
