Bernice Verhoeven

Hi! My name is Bernice Verhoeven and I am the Commissioners of Academic Relations of the 37th STAR Management Week together with Fenne. As Commissioners of Academic Relations, we are mainly focusing on organizing the academic events during the STAR Management Week. The academic events are the Opening Ceremony, Honorary Discussions, several engaging trainings, and for the first time this year the Talent Talks! We are responsible for finding the most interesting and inspiring people from the top in business and politics, for you to engage with and be inspired by! 

We have almost finished our acquisition period, and have gathered, by my opinion, an impressive list of inspiring speakers. The coming weeks we will visit all of our speakers, get to know them and prepare them for the events. I am excited for all of you to meet them!

Besides my Academic responsibilities, I fulfill the roles of Vice-Chair and back office manager. In my role as Vice, I support our chairman, Léon, with his tasks and responsibilities, with stakeholders but also the committee. As back office manager together with Mila, we are responsible for the crew schedule and are the designated contact person. Furthermore, Mila and I need to make sure that everyone is at the right place at the right time.
