Like compounding returns, the value of continuous learning grows exponentially over time
Rob has over 30 years of experience in asset management. For almost 15 years, he managed fundamental equity portfolios, followed by 10 years managing quantitative equity portfolios within the Factor Investing team. He also led a global team of Client Portfolio Managers, based in New York, Miami, Hong Kong, Sydney, Rotterdam, and Frankfurt, serving clients invested in quantitative strategies.
Currently, he is the Program Director of the Robeco Global Investment Traineeship, an intensive two-year program for recently graduated Master’s students. Trainees rotate across various investment teams within Equity, Fixed Income, and Sustainable Investing (SI). During the first year, they complete a three-month assignment in Zurich, and in the second year, a two-month assignment in either London, New York, Hong Kong, or Singapore. The program also includes many content related courses as well as personal development trainings. Upon successful completion of the program, trainees are offered a position within one of Robeco’s investment teams.
