Who or what provided your possibilities?
Although I now live in Haarlem, the port that truly opened possibilities for me was Boston, MA (USA). It represented far more than a location. It was where I learned that opportunity rarely comes wrapped in certainty. As a young professional building an international career, Boston challenged me to embrace discomfort, take risks and trust my own capabilities. Looking back, it was not talent alone that created opportunities, but the courage to step forward and the discipline to keep going when the outcome was uncertain.
