What are we looking for?

- Fluent in English (C1minimum)

What are our sustainable initiatives?
1) Actions Againts Climate Change
Burger King Italy has implemented the Enerbrain energy efficiency system, which monitors and regulates HVAC systems via cloud-based algorithms and in-store sensors. This ensures optimal comfort while significantly reducing energy consumption.
Burger King Belgium and Luxembourg have introduced digital energy monitoring tools to optimize electricity and gas use. Additional measures include energy-efficient digital menu boards and adjusted kiosk operating hours to cut energy use during downtime.
To promote sustainable mobility, EV charging stations have been installed in several Burger King and Quick stores across Belgium.
2) Action for Circular Economy
- As a result of a process started in 2021, as of 2024 all purchased paper for guest packaging by the Group Business Units is 100% FSC or PEFC certified.
- QSRP has already phased out nearly all single-use plastic packaging from its stores (only 0.8% total share of single use plastic in guest packaging), replacing it with more sustainable, non-plastic alternatives for a range of items, including wood stirrers, cutlery, dessert spoons, and paper straws.
- Food waste prevention: One of the key initiatives in QSRP’s food waste reduction strategy is Burger King’s dynamic Serving System (dSS), a digital platform that allows restaurants to track food production and order fulfillment in real time, helping to prevent mismanagement and unnecessary waste.
- Beef & Bacon: QSRP sources beef exclusively from Continental Europe and the British Isles, ensuring quality and a lower environmental footprint. Bacon is sourced from non-castrated pigs, reflecting animal welfare considerations.
- Eggs: All egg-based products (where eggs exceed 1% of the recipe) come from cage-free environments, prioritizing the well-being of hens.
- Fish: QSRP follows strict sustainable sourcing guidelines, avoiding endangered species (IUCN Red List) and relying on certifications like MSC, ASC, Global GAP, BIO, and BAP. Burger King and Quick BeLux are MSC certified; most fish volumes are fully MSC-compliant.
Poultry: O’Tacos maintains high welfare standards through ongoing audits and farm visits, evaluating conditions such as air quality, density, and lighting in poultry farms.
