Hunter Douglas develops future leaders through three flagship talent programs, designed around its culture of meritocracy, entrepreneurship, and accelerated career growth. 

6-Month Internship Program

The Internship Program gives university students hands-on experience through high-impact business projects linked to strategic company priorities. Interns work with business leaders, collaborate on cross-functional challenges, and present their results to senior executives. Strong performers may be offered full-time roles or progression into the Global Management Trainee Program. Opportunities span functions such as Sales & Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Customer Experience. 

Global Management Trainee (GMT) Program

The GMT Program is a selective, 10-month leadership development program sponsored by Hunter Douglas’ Executive Leadership Team. Participants rotate through key areas of the business, receive global and local training, work alongside senior leaders, and complete a strategic project delivering measurable business impact. The program provides a holistic view of the organisation and is designed to accelerate participants into future leadership roles. 

MBA Program

The MBA Program is designed for recent MBA graduates ready to take on leadership responsibility from day one. Participants lead a strategic business project with executive sponsorship, gain exposure to key business functions, and are subsequently placed into growth-focused management roles aligned with their skills and interests. The program combines hands-on leadership experience with opportunities to influence the future direction of the business.
