Baukje Makkus

Hi! My name is Baukje Makkus, I am the Commissioner of Commercial Relations of the 38th STAR Management Week. I do this with Ilona and together we are responsible for the acquisition of our event. This means I am reaching out to top companies and inviting them to come to our event. I will be their contact person, help them with questions they might have and keep them up to date in the time leading up to the STAR Management Week.

One of the recurring Career events I am really looking forward to is the Company Dinner. Together with a small group of enthusiastic students you will enjoy a luxurious dinner where each course you will meet a different company. Allowing you to interact with these companies in an intimate setting so you can get to know the company representatives and vice versa.

Besides my Commercial responsibilities, I fulfil the role of Back Office manager together with Sam. I will keep in touch with all of the participating students and our crew to make sure everything runs smoothly and everyone is in the right place at the right time.
