About Us

Creating more impact with social capital by realizing future plans in a sustainable and financially responsible manner—that’s what we do in a nutshell. We view financially sound policies as the cornerstone of every organization. It provides direction, resilience, connection, flexibility, and efficiency in internal processes. We do this for three key sectors in our society: institutional investors, housing corporations, and healthcare institutions.

And why social capital? A positive impact on society is what drives us. Organizations are financed with this capital. Our goal is to utilize these funds as efficiently and effectively as possible. We support organizations in ensuring financial continuity, allowing them to maximize their social impact. It’s a different way of thinking, and this is reflected in our collaboration. Money is not the most important thing—impact is.

Where does our DNA come from? Our advisors are ambitious and eager professionals with a passion for finance and real estate. We all have the drive to truly understand what’s happening in the sectors we are active in. It’s no surprise that we have three professors on our team and that research is continuously conducted. Within our team, we are always working on new insights and conclusions. We challenge each other on the content, actively contributing to the growth of your knowledge.

What do we mean by “it can always be better”? Our driving force is to add value: it can always be better. Knowledge and quality are embedded in our entire process. This is driven by involvement, independence, and entrepreneurship. Each time is different, with a keen sense of balance and interests. We do this with scientifically substantiated and data-driven advice. We primarily see opportunities. Our entrepreneurship is reflected in the development of new products and services. We make quick decisions and are flexible, always looking for new ways to deploy your capital as efficiently and effectively as possible for the goal you pursue.

 

What are our sustainable initiatives?

Finance Ideas offers different services for housing associations, healthcare institutions and institutional investors helping them with their sustainability goals. We advise housing associations and healthcare institutions on the climate risk of their real estate portfolio. We use data to estimate the risk of heat stress, flooding, and wildfires for every building in their portfolio. This way institutions can take suitable measures to reduce climate risk. Another service that we offer is helping institutional investors with implementing ESG in their investment portfolio. Another sustainability initiative of Finance Ideas is the Global Real Estate Engagement Network (GREEN). GREEN is a not for profit engagement network of global institutional investors in the real estate industry. The network aims to ensure that the industry reaches the Paris goals on climate change. Through the power of coalition the institutional investors aim to steer real estate companies to improve their sustainability performance, and reduce their exposure to financial and non-financial climate risk.
