Herrik van der Gaag has a broad background in retail, with experience in kitchens, furniture, consumer electronics, and fashion. Seven years ago, he joined Volvo, where he currently serves as Managing Director for the DACHNL region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands).

In this role, he is responsible for leading the organisation and working with retailers across these markets. His focus is on strengthening Volvo’s position during a time of transition in the automotive industry, with electrification, sustainability, and customer experience as key priorities.
