About Us

At Henkel, we believe the future is in your hands — and we’re here to help shape it with you.

Henkel is a global leader in both industrial and consumer businesses, with a proud heritage of over 145 years of innovation, sustainability, and growth. From well-known brands like Persil, Schwarzkopf, and Loctite, to cutting-edge adhesive technologies powering everything from smartphones to electric vehicles, Henkel touches millions of lives every day.

But beyond our products, it’s our people who truly make us unique.

At Henkel, we foster a culture of collaboration, responsibility, and continuous learning. We empower students and young professionals to contribute to meaningful projects from day one — whether you’re working in marketing, supply chain, R&D, sustainability, or digital transformation. You won’t just observe, you’ll shape solutions that have real-world impact.

We know that early careers are about exploration, and that’s why Henkel offers a wide range of internships, traineeships, and entry-level positions in an international and inclusive environment. With over 50,000 employees worldwide and offices in 79 countries, we combine the agility of a startup with the stability of a global powerhouse.

Sustainability and innovation are at the core of everything we do. We are constantly challenging the status quo to create smarter, more sustainable products and processes — and we’re looking for the next generation of change-makers to join us on this journey.

If you’re curious, ambitious, and ready to make a difference, Henkel is the place to start your career. Let’s create the future together.

What are our sustainable initiatives?

Henkel is committed to leading the way in sustainability through innovation, responsibility, and long-term thinking. Our strategy is built around creating more value with less environmental impact. By 2030, we aim to become a climate-positive company and reduce the carbon footprint of our production by 65% (vs. 2010). We’re also developing sustainable packaging — using more recycled materials and making all packaging recyclable or reusable by 2025.

Across our brands, from eco-friendly detergents to energy-efficient adhesive technologies, we’re embedding sustainability into every product lifecycle. We work closely with suppliers and partners to drive transparency and responsibility throughout our value chain. And through our educational initiatives, like the “Henkel Sustainability Ambassador” program, we empower employees and students alike to become change agents in their communities.

At Henkel, sustainability isn’t a department — it’s a mindset. Together, we’re building a future that’s smarter, cleaner, and more sustainable.
