I am convinced that if we want to make the world more circular and greener, we must start connecting large players with innovative companies like ourselves to steer them towards the right direction.
Lara van Druten is a visionary entrepreneur with a substantial track record in the area of innovation, clean tech and resource recovery. She is CEO and founder of The Waste Transformers, an award-winning Dutch company on a mission to revolutionise how we deal with waste in a way that is circular, green, clean, entrepreneurial and smart. Her experience spans the private and public sector; the corporate and start-up world. Lara is known for her independent spirit, her energy and entrepreneurial drive.She is a role-modelling international entrepreneurship for the Dutch government and an Unreasonable Fellow (selected by Unreasonable and Barclays Bank as one of 11 CEO’s in Europe “bending history in the right direction”). She is a Supervisory Board member of several utility companies, and serves on the Board of a number of start-ups. Lara is a frequent public speaker and lives in the Netherlands with her husband and twin boys.
