Joke Boonstra

Before joining the executive board of Erasmus MC in 2017, dr. Joke Boonstra worked as a clinical chemist at Erasmus MC, as head of the department and as an executive board member at the IJsselland hospital. In her current role she is amongst others responsible for HR, quality & safety of patient care, healthcare networks and the sustainability transition of Erasmus MC. Dr. Boonstra studied at the University of Amsterdam, gained her PhD at Leiden University and followed several executive courses at international business schools.
