John leads Louwman since 2017. Louwman is a 100% family owned group of Automotive, Mobility, Care and Financial Services businesses. Most special part definitely is Louwman Museum in the Hague, a world famous collection of classical unique automobiles.

Before Louwman he was CEO for 8 year at another family owned business, Argenta Bank & Insurance company. Starting in 2008 in the midst of the largest financial crisis since 1929 Argenta proved to be stronger and more resistent to the crisis than most larger Benelux Banks. John worked prior at ING Group with last jobs as CEO at ING Insurance Belgium and CEO at ING Nationale Nederlanden Greece. He holds an Erasmus executive MBA/MBI degree. He was the 1996 winner of the Jo van Nunen Award. At Tilburg University he enjoyed his studies in macro and monetary economics and financial and business economics. As granddad of Nora, dad of Tamara and Marco and partner of Wilma in a 35 year marriage he reserves as much as possible time for family and hobbies in art and excellent toprestaurants.
