Selection procedure
If you apply with us, you will know very concretely within two weeks after your first appointment what your options are within Tata Steel. The application procedure starts with an interview with our Recruitment employees. During this conversation, the focus is on why you are the top academic we are looking for. If we are convinced of your talent, you will proceed to the next round: a meeting with the manager of your future department. Are both conversations positive? Then there is a final interview and you get a ‘go’ or a ‘no go’. In the event of a ‘go’, there will be another conversation about our terms of employment.

A selection of projects we are proud of
ROZA Hall
- A large hall surrounding the processing of ROZA slag prevents the emission of graphite-containing dust. At the end of May, Tata Steel and Harsco commissioned the new factory hall for the processing of ROZA slag. The hall is now fully operational. Because the processing of this type of slag now takes place inside the hall, the chance of spreading graphite-containing dust to the surrounding area is now a thing of the past.
Measures at the Coke and Gas Plant
- We have implemented many improvements at Coke and Gas Plant 2. As a result, the coke ovens are better sealed, and emissions have decreased.
Pellet Plant
- The dust removal system at the Pellet Plant has been put into operation. With pipes as large as subway tunnels and 60 kilometers of filter cloth to purify the air.
Windscreen
- In 2024, we will construct a large windscreen 18 meters high and approximately 1 kilometer long. This windscreen reduces wind speed over our raw material fields, resulting in less dispersal.
