Working as a Management Trainee at Randstad Group Netherlands
Randstad Groep’s Management Traineeship is all about your commercialism and leadership. In the first phase of the traineeship, you will get to know the core business of Randstad, Tempo-Team or Yacht. It is mainly about managing processes; you will be responsible for the human capital of multiple companies. It is like running your own business, with your own achievable turnover! Of course, you will have guidance from your manager and mentor.
In the second phase of your traineeship you take a more transcendent role in our core business and you will have the opportunity to participate in projects. This allows you to get to know the company’s departments, such as the consultancy, innovation or marketing department, even better. As a management trainee, you will become one of the top members of the Randstad Group in the future. That is why we invest a lot in you. Your ambition and vision must lead us through the turbulent developments that the world of people and work is going through.
The think tank
Part of the traineeship is the think tank, in which you will deal with strategic issues of management. The board of managers is closely involved and it is your challenge to get them on board with your ideas. The think tank takes place every Wednesday and also pays a lot of attention to self-development: trainees provide each other with continuous feedback and are guided by a coach. In short, the think tank allows you to create a vision for Randstad and for yourself.
Career opportunities after the traineeship
The purpose of the traineeship is to get you in the right place within our organization. The intention is that after two and a half years you will cover a management or senior position within Randstad, Tempo-Team or Yacht. This can be, for example, as a (district) manager of an employment agency, a key account manager of one of our large clients or as a consultant with our propositions consultancy or professionals. You can also continue as a specialist at one of our staff departments such as Marketing, Finance or HR. If you develop yourself as planned during the traineeship, you will continue to the regular Management Development Program of Randstad Group. If you keep doing well, you will have a high management position within five to seven years.
