What are your sustainable initiatives?

Since 2011, we have used only green electricity at KPN, and since 2015 our operations have been CO2 neutral. And that’s just as well, because this allows us to make a huge impact when it comes to sustainability. We want to continue to minimize our footprint and aim to become virtually 100% circular by 2025. This means that we want to use as many reusable materials as possible where we can.

Within Consumer Market and TDO, we are already quite far in recycling and saving energy. Think of energy-efficient networks, high efficiency recycling, smart home appliances with recycled plastic design, more sustainable fiber optic cable, energy-efficient TV receivers and our SIM cards.
