Volksbank is the parent company of SNS, ASN Bank, RegioBank and BLG Wonen. As a bank with over 3 million customers, we want to distinguish ourselves through our social impact. And in doing so, banking is about more than just money. It is a way of being of value. Not only for our own organization and employees, our customers or our shareholder. But for society as a whole. In many places in the Netherlands, all year round. Together we invest in a better Netherlands. Our customers notice that too, every day. It is not for nothing that RegioBank, SNS and ASN Bank were voted the three most customer-friendly banks in the Netherlands in 2022. A great result of which we are proud. It just goes to show that a strong relationship with customers and the desire to make a difference to society go hand in hand. Banking matters are ultimately people matters. And that is exactly what all our colleagues at Volksbank will continue to work hard on: banking on a human scale.
What are our sustainable initiatives?
Volksbank wants to make a positive contribution to society. From our core activities of mortgages, savings and payments, we can have a significant positive impact on sustainability in our chain and the financial resilience of our customers. In 2017, Volksbank adopted the sustainability policy of its ASN bank brand and implemented it on all its activities and processes. The sustainability policy is built on three pillars: climate, human rights and biodiversity.
