You can only achieve a sustainable breakthrough if you understand and converge the interests of all those involved. Collaboration between partners in the value chain is therefore essential. Copper8 initiates and facilitate these connections. We also guide organisations in setting up and safeguarding new forms of collaboration.

Our strength lies in achieving challenging sustainable and circular results within existing financial frameworks. By linking the soft elements to the content and financial goals, our projects are taken to the boardroom. And that’s where we make the difference.

We are a diverse team of about 15 young, hard working and creative minds and share 5 core values: authenticity, involvement, quality, creativity and trust.

We are focused on 3 activities:

  1. Consultancy, for instance in setting up policy on sustainability or on circularity, but also in circular procurement projects. Besides that, we train many people in the knowledge and insights we have gathered over the years. 
  2. We also do research on complex challenges, for instance the scarcity of (rare) metals and its effect on the supply of sustainable energy solutions.
  3. We also start up our own ventures to speed up the transition to a sustainable and circular economy, such as initiating the so-called ‘Chef d’emission’ of the Dutch Olympic team, the EME platform for exchanging excess materials and Gener8 that strives for circular solar panels. 

Making real impact

Our mission is to make a sustainable impact in the manufacturing and construction industry. We measure our success in terms of the impact we have achieved rather than in terms of sales and people. We measure the impact in two ways: our impact within a project and the impact of the project itself. Our impact meter gives us these insights.
